Water Heater Replacement & Installation in Las Vegas

New water heater installation in Las Vegas — the old tank removed and a correctly sized gas, electric, or tankless unit installed to code.

About This Service

When a water heater can no longer be repaired — or when replacement is the better long-term value — we remove the old unit and install a new one sized correctly for your home or business. We handle standard tank and tankless installations. If the unit can still be repaired, our water heater repair service covers that instead.

Common Warning Signs

  • An older unit that needs frequent repairs
  • A leaking tank that can't be repaired
  • Not enough hot water for your household
  • Rusty water from an aging tank

Why You May Need This Service

  • A tank that's reached the end of its life
  • A leaking tank beyond repair
  • Upgrading to a more efficient unit
  • A household whose hot-water needs have grown

Our Professional Approach

We help you choose a unit that fits your needs and budget, install it to code, and explain how to get the longest life and best performance from your new water heater.

Choosing the Right Replacement

The right new unit depends on your home, not on what happens to be on the truck. We go through these with you before recommending anything:

  • Fuel type — gas or electric. Switching between the two is possible, but it changes the gas line, the electrical circuit, and the venting, so we price that honestly up front.
  • Size — tank capacity (or flow rate for tankless) matched to how many people live in the home and how much hot water you use at once, so you don't pay to heat water you never use or run out mid-shower.
  • Tank or tankless — tankless units save space and don't run out, but cost more up front and need regular descaling in Las Vegas hard water. A tank is often the simpler, lower-cost like-for-like swap.
  • Location and venting — a garage, closet, or attic install each has its own clearance, venting, and drain-pan requirements that affect what fits.

What a Replacement Includes

A replacement is more than setting a new tank in place. A complete installation covers:

  • Shutting off and draining the old unit, disconnecting it safely, and hauling it away.
  • Setting the new unit, then connecting the water lines, and the gas line and venting or the electrical circuit.
  • Installing or updating the items the installation needs to meet current code, such as seismic strapping, the temperature-and-pressure relief valve and its discharge line, a drain pan where required, and a thermal expansion tank where the system calls for one.
  • Filling, lighting or powering up, and checking for leaks, proper venting, and correct temperature before we leave.
  • Walking you through the new unit and the maintenance it needs — including the annual flush that Southern Nevada's hard water makes so important.

Repair or Replace?

Not every water heater problem means a new unit. If the fault is in a repairable part — an element, thermostat, burner, valve, or connection — and the tank itself is sound, a water heater repair is often the better value. If the tank is leaking, badly corroded, or near the end of its service life, replacement is usually the more reliable choice.

Already been told you need a new water heater? Request an estimate or call us for a second opinion before you decide — we'll inspect the unit and tell you honestly whether replacement is really needed.

What Affects the Price of a New Water Heater

The biggest factors are the type and size of the unit, gas versus electric, any changes to venting, gas, or electrical, and the code items your installation needs. That's why we inspect your setup and give you a clear written price before any work begins rather than quoting a number over the phone.
